First cuppa the day.

As with most other things, nobody can seem to agree on whether or not starting one's day with caffeine is truly harmful or helpful. It decreases reaction time and increases endurance: good. It increases the amount of "stress hormone" your body produces: bad.

That didn't stop one fellow from documenting his first daily jolt: Over at DogMilque's webspot, he set up a lovely photo set honoring his First Cup every day between July & August. Some fine looking specimens there, too!

Meanwhile, I say thank G-d for that first cup, stress hormone or not. Without it I'd probably always look like this:
