Cough-y

Larry's been laid up sick in bed for three days now, and getting antsy. I do not do well with a.) being cooped up in the house alone for hours on end, b.) not being able to feel productive at work, c.) having to stay away from coffee, and d.) daytime television.

In an attempt to make myself feel better and remember that light at the end of the tunnel, I've been compiling a list of shops I want to visit when a colleague and I finally go out to Seattle in two weeks:

• Vivace, to see David Schomer's brainchild at work;
• Caffe Vita, where one of our Joe baristi started out;
• Victrola Coffee, omg duh! So excited!
• Lighthouse Roasters, one of Joe's owner's favorite shops;
• Coffee Messiah, on a friend's recommendation; I have been informed (thank you for the info) that this store is closed. Sad!

Since it'll be my first time there, and we've only got two full days to see and drink everything I can, the list is fairly truncated. But I'm accepting further recommendations, so hit me with your best (espresso) shot!

Look out, Left Coast, here comes trouble!
